The Irish National Organisation of the Unemployed is pleased to announce they are now taking applications for their popular Information, Advice & Advocacy course.
This QQI Level 6 course will equip those who are considering Information provision and/or Advocacy as a career option with the skills, knowledge and confidence to become autonomous information and advocacy workers.
Information, Advice and Advocacy is for anyone who wishes to learn or improve information, advice and advocacy techniques and increase confidence in their abilities in these areas while gaining a recognised academic qualification.
The course will equip people with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to become autonomous information and advocacy workers. By the end of the programme, learners will have developed a broad knowledge of different advocacy methods and types, how to identify relevant supports and provide impartial information and advice. Learners may also develop a range of life skills including self-confidence, self-awareness, problem solving, time and boundary management. Learners will identify the key strengths needed to bring to the role of information and advocacy provision.
This online training programme will run for 2 mornings a week over a period of 8 weeks.

Course ends: Thursday May 29th, 2025
Course times: 10am to 1pm
Fees: €550 per person
