Management Essentials

The Autumn dates for our Management Essentials courses are now available and we are taking bookings.

Management Essentials is a fully immersive and interactive experience allowing participants to acquire key skills and knowledge in core areas of people management. This is a blended learning course which comprises three days of live online tutor led training (via Zoom) with eight online modules to be completed also. The tutor led dates for our upcoming courses are listed below.

• Course 1: 12th September, 19th September and 17th October (tutor led dates)
• Course 2: 26th September, 3rd October and 7th November (tutor led dates)
• Course 3: 3rd October, 17th October and 14th November (tutor led dates)

Meets HIQA requirements

Leading to a QQI Level 6 Component Certificate, Management Essentials is accepted by HIQA where staff are required to have a management qualification.

Building Resilience in Healthcare Customer Services (8th October 2024)

Providing excellent customer service in healthcare is vital to a positive and compassionate experience for patients and service users. For a variety of reasons, the context for such interactions can be stressful. As a consequence, some interactions can be difficult for those involved. This one day Building Resilience in Healthcare Customer Services course aims to equip participants with practical steps and strategies to develop resilience, maintain composure and professionalism when dealing with such challenging situations.

Stepping Up – one day management course(15th October 2024)

Our Stepping Up one day management course is suitable for staff who are looking at the starting point in their management career. Stepping Up provides a comprehensive overview of fundamental management skills. The structure of the day encourages engagement with course theories, content and the development of relevant soft skills. It allows participants time for personal reflection, action planning for personal growth and how they will apply their learning to their roles.
