Grants Volunteer

Gerri’s Place is a new non-profit organisation providing affordable wellbeing breaks for people who need time and space to focus on their emotional and mental wellbeing. We cater to individuals experiencing mild depression, anxiety, stress, or burnout by offering access to a range of therapeutic activities in a safe and supportive environment.

Gerri’s Place is looking for volunteers for our grants committee.

We are seeking volunteers with experience in grant writing, research, and management to join our grants committee.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Ideally has experience in the non-profit sector, particularly in grant writing and management.
  • An interest in mental health and wellbeing.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.

Time commitment and role length are flexible and to be decided with the volunteer.

This is an exciting initiative that will provide much-needed early intervention and support to people experiencing a mental health challenge. This is a great opportunity to support Gerri’s Place and to be part of its success.

If you have the experience and have time to spare, please contact Chelsea by emailing volunteer@gerrisplace.ie
