Future Cast: Erasmus + Youth Engagement Project

Future Cast is a not-for-profit training and research organisation who work with young people to develop their green and digital skills.
Peer Civic
The Peer Civic Erasmus + youth project aims to involve and positively interest young people in youth led European policy initiatives. The project’s key objectives are to
- build young people’s confidence in identifying and presenting key challenges of young people
- develop negotiation and influence skills with key decision makers
- Increase awareness of European policy making structures
- Increase active citizenship and participation
- Develop peer learning groups from across Europe (Bulgaria, Romania, Italy, Spain, Ireland)
As part of the project, five youth workers will work with 50 young Irish people (18-25) to identify key challenges facing young people and then help them to present those needs to key stakeholders at an online event on the 9th of December 2024.

Two of the youth candidates will be chosen to represent Ireland in Brussels in March 2025.
