Ireland’s only LGBTQ+ awards, the GALAS, will make its return this October.

Taking place in a new venue, the Dublin Royal Convention Centre, on 5th October, the GALAS is a unique opportunity to celebrate, empower and connect Ireland’s glittering LGBTQ+ community.

The GALAS celebrates the people, communities, and organisations from all over Ireland who have a positive impact on the LGBTQ+ community and are actively striving for a just and equal society.

The GALAS was created in 2009 by GCN and the National LGBT Federation (NXF) to honour those who work towards a better future for LGBTQ+ people in Ireland.

​The fabulous Paul Ryder and Cassie Stokes will be hosting this year's awards. The dynamic hosts will guide audiences through 13 categories, acknowledging the efforts made by individuals, organisations and companies who work towards a better future for LGBTQ+ people in Ireland.
