Ballincollig Family Resource Centre
What do we do?
The aim of the Ballincollig Family Resource Centre is to establish, promote and operate a community development programme which acts as a focus and catalyst for community development for Ballincollig and surrounding areas promoting educational, cultural and economic welfare and particularly to empower disadvantaged groups to effectively participate in programmes of a personal development.
Ballincollig Family Resource Centre provides a welcoming and inclusive environment. We provide a wide range of quality, family support services in response to the needs of the people in our community. We actively support and promote personal growth, and community health and well-being.
We embrace diversity and are committed to anti-discrimination and equality practices, prioritising togetherness which supports inclusion, a sense of belonging and empowerment for individuals/families and our community. We ensure that all programmes in the FRC are inclusive and accessible to families in the community.
Our Organization
Working with the community we take our responsibilities very seriously. All our staff, Board Members and volunteers are Garda Vetted. We have a Child Protection Policy and Child Safeguarding Statement in place.
We ensure there is transparency and accountability in the management of public money as required by the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform.
We comply with relevant governance frameworks including the Tusla Good Governance Framework, The Governance Code that guides not-for-profit community, voluntary and charity (CVC) organisations on how to run their organisation and the General Data Protection Rules (GDPR).
