Mission Statement
Children's Group Link will endeavor to encourage and assist in the development of children, teenagers and adults. We will strive to create a positive environment for those in our care and help them to express themselves in an open and secure way. The group will strive to achieve these goals through clearly defined methods and objectives.
Aims & Objectives
To provide recreational, educational, sporting and counselling services and facilities.
To involve the members in beneficial communal activities
To establish and develop children's talents
Areas of Work
Children's Group Link is a voluntary, non-profit making organisation with recognised charitable status. There is a current membership of over 120 members. We shall work with and for children, teenagers and adults in the locality of Waterford City and its environs. For every seven children who are considered at risk there is one child not considered at risk enrolled.
Weekly programmes consist of:
Monday: The New Frontiers from 6.30pm- 8.30pm
Tuesday: 7-11 yr olds from 6pm-8pm
Wednesday: outh Cafe from 6.30pm-8.30pm
Thursday: 12-14yr olds from 6.30pm-8.30pm
Saturday: All members 12pm-2pm
As well as our weekly programmes, we have outreach projects, which include, the Pobal project, the New Frontiers, In Touch and the Links project. We also have extra programmes and residential trips. For more info, don't hesitate to call or email us! You can also check out our website!
