Breast Cancer Research (formerly NBCRI) is a national charity, based in University Hospital Galway. We are committed to funding breast cancer research at NUI, Galway that helps improve treatments and outcomes for women in Ireland and across the world.

The aims of the charity are to:

• Conduct focused research into the behaviour of breast cancer.
• Fundraise to provide the most effective treatments and fast forward breast screening in Ireland.
• Combine clinical and research activities to develop a better breast cancer service for Irish women.
