Family Carers Ireland is the national charity dedicated to supporting the 355,000+ family carers across the country who dedicate their lives to caring for loved ones such as children or adults with physical or intellectual disabilities, frail older people, the terminally ill or those suffering from chronic illnesses or addiction.

Through a national network of 22 centres and a 24/7 National FreePhone Careline (1800 24 07 24), Family Carers Ireland provides essential supports and services including information and advocacy on rights and entitlements, advice on care planning and crisis support, networking groups and social events and help in accessing essential respite breaks.

Our vision is an Ireland in which family carers are properly recognised, supported and empowered.
