Irish Refugee Council
The Irish Refugee Council is an independent, membership-based, non-governmental organisation (NGO).
It seeks to ensure that Ireland's asylum policy and practice accord fully with international law and the human rights of asylum-seekers and refugees and promote public awareness and understanding of asylum and refugee issues.
The work of the Irish Refugee Council on a national level includes policy, research, legal work, networking and the provision of information while the Ennis office deals with the broad range of issues affecting the local refugee community.
