Ireland’s national celebration of creativity as we age. The Bealtaine Festival is run by Age and Opportunity. Each year during May all over the country Bealtaine events run in arts centres, theatres, libraries, galleries, community centres, local halls, care settings, cultural spaces and even in the open air.

From local communities to concert halls, hundreds of organisers come together to put on events for one and all. At the heart of the Bealtaine Festival, there is a deep commitment to encouraging great participation in and access to, the arts by older people, be they artists, performers, event organisers or audience.
