UNICEF Ireland
Established in 1962, UNICEF Ireland is committed to working for every child.
UNICEF works in some of the world’s toughest places, to reach the world’s most disadvantaged children. To save their lives. To defend their rights. To help them fulfil their potential.
Across 190 countries and territories, we work for every child, everywhere, every day, to build a better world for everyone.
UNICEF Ireland provides funding for UNICEF’s work worldwide as well as directly funding a growing number of country specific programmes in the areas of health, water and sanitation, education, child protection and emergency relief.
UNICEF Ireland advises the Irish Government and other bodies on policies and legislation which support the above programmes and commitments under the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
UNICEF Ireland also works with young people in Ireland, empowering them to find their voices and become involved with the UNICEF movement as activists, advocates and campaigners.
And we never give up.
