Sexual violence is prevalent in our society, Tipperary Rape Crisis & Counselling Centre works to break the silence around this issue and to support individuals who have experienced sexual violence to empower themselves.

Our work here at Tipperary Rape Crisis Centre is to provide support and services to survivors of Sexual Trauma, Sexual Abuse and Sexual Violence.  We support women, men and children.  Unfortunately, sexual abuse happens to far more children than most people ever believe - or want to believe.  Many of our clients present having suffered historical child abuse.  In fact, around 65% of women who contact Rape Crisis Centres are adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse.
