The Irish Hospice Foundation
The Irish Hospice Foundation's mission is to promote the hospice philosophy and support the development of hospice and palliative care. We are driven by the belief that no-one should have to face death without appropriate care and support, which should include families and loved ones and extend into bereavement.
Our services include information, education and training, principally in the area of loss and bereavement. Our reference library has a specialist focus on this area. The Foundation also promotes research; engages in development projects aimed at the further development of hospice and palliative care; offers grants, supports the voluntary hospice movement and coordinates national fundraising events.
