Centre for Peace and Development Studies
The Centre for Peace and Development Studies is a Research Centre located within the Department of Government and Society, University of Limerick. The Centre supports students engaged in personal research to PhD and Masters level. In addition, it offers a full-time, one year taught Masters course in Peace and Development Studies. The aim of the Centre is to provide research evidence concerning conflict and its resolution both in Ireland and in other countries throughout the world. It explores ways to work towards a deeper understanding of conflict resolution and reconciliation and the development of programmes which can make a practical contribution to the resolution of conflict wherever it exists.
