DFI is the national umbrella body for Ireland's main organisations of and for people with disabilities. The growing membership now numbers some 66 organisations who provide a comprehensive range of services to people with a disability.

These services range from information and support services to education, training, housing, accommodation, respite care, para-medical and other professional services. The membership of DFI are involved with all disability groupings and cover all ages.
