ICON is a Network of Organisations in the North East Inner City of Dublin. It is a Community Development Organisation open to membership to anyone living or working in the North East Inner City - individuals, representatives of tenants Groups and workers in local services and Projects.

ICON is:

• A local source of information
• Campaigns and lobbies around issues identified by the community
• Encourages local policy making through debate and discussion

ICON attempts to address a range of issues that affect the local community including; Community Development, Drugs, Youth services, Child-care, Housing, Education issues, Multi-cultural issues, Integration of services for children at Risk etc.



These issues are addressed in a variety of Working Groups made up of interested individuals. ICON also offers  support to local Authority Tenants Groups through the employment of a Tenant's Group organiser.
