The Cavan Centre will provide a residential resource to promote Youth and Community Work based on a Community Development Process through the medium of Education, Experiential Learning and Personal Development. This resource is primarily for disadvantaged and marginalised groups and communities.

Aims & Objectives:

The aim of the Centre is to provide a residential resource to empower young people through a Community Development Programme of Education and Experiential Learning.

The Cavan Centre works to enhance the lives of those who come to stay through participation in our educational, recreational and training programmes.

Presently the Centre operates three distinct Programmes:

• The Empowering Communities Programme
• The Residential Education Programme ‘Breaking the Cycle’
• Employment Initiatives Programme
