This year-long course is intended for people from a variety of disciplines who are intending, beginning, or already practising supervisors. Professionally accredited by IACP, this course is designed to enable individuals to extend their understanding and knowledge of supervision, incorporating theoretical inputs with opportunities for group discussion and experiential exercises.

The aim of this in person training is to provide a trauma-informed toolkit to support women looking to rebuild their financial wellbeing and take back control of their financial futures after being subjected to domestic abuse and coercive control.

The course promotes principles of inclusion, human rights, equality and social justice, working towards sustainable development, and tackling issues such as inequality, climate change, poverty and disadvantage. Duration: 4 years (Commencing September 2024 Full Time).

RCSI, in association with Irish Hospice Foundation, runs two accredited Level 9 MSc programmes - MSc Loss & Bereavement and MSc Loss & Bereavement (Clinical Practice) focusing on loss and bereavement and are now inviting applications for these part-time postgraduate programmes run over two years.

Our four-year BSc (Hons) in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy is now accepting applications for the September 2024 intake. This innovative programme is validated by QQI and accredited by IACP, Ireland’s largest professional body. The programme is delivered through blended learning.

This course is designed in the style of a conversion programme for graduates who hold a Level 8 Degree in the human sciences or equivalent. It is ideal for those who, upon completion, would like to transfer to a Master’s level practice programme to become professional therapists.

The aim of this programme is to equip you with an up to date, cutting edge training in the application of technology enabled teaching and learning in a higher education setting.

Our one-year Level 9 QQI Certificate in Teaching & Learning in Higher Education is now accepting applications for the September 2024 intake. The aim of this programme is to equip you with an up to date, cutting edge training in teaching and learning in a higher education setting.

The programme aims to enable graduates to analyse their own practice and the profession. We strive to facilitate learners in the creation of evidence-based solutions to the current problems they face as individual practitioners and dilemmas that exist within the profession.

This 2.5-year programme will be of interest to practising therapists and play therapists who wish to extend their existing qualification in counselling and psychotherapy to master’s level and work with children and adolescents. Monthly 3 block days (Usually Friday evenings, all day Saturday and all-day Sunday).

Applicants will hold a Level 8 Degree in the helping professions (counselling, psychotherapy, social care, social work, psychology, psych nursing, mental health, addiction etc.). Those who hold a Level 7 Degree in the helping professions, plus appropriate relevant work experience may be eligible to apply under RPL.

The aim of this minor Award is to provide participants with a basis on which to develop their therapeutic understanding of the theoretical and clinical considerations of substance use. This programme is delivered via Blended Learning with 2 days on site in our Tallaght Campus and 2 days online via Zoom.

Workshop include: Working with C & A in Bereavement and Loss, Trauma Informed Therapy, An Introduction to Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorder, The Overcoming Anxiety Process, CBT with Anxiety, Working with Survivors of Child Sexual Abuse and Introduction to Art Therapy.

Fusion Training offer QQI certified programmes in Facilitation, Train the Trainer, Conflict Management and Wellbeing & Flourishing. They also offer bespoke training. Courses are delivered by Gerard Fitzpatrick, author of the acclaimed books Crossing the Threshold (Fusion Press, 2020) and Effective Group Leadership (Orpen Press, 2016).
