South Dublin County Public Participation Network: Invitation to Tender / Expression of Interest
Title: Invitation to Tender / Expression of Interest to Host South Dublin County PPN
Background:
South Dublin County Public Participation Network is undertaking an Expression of Interest / Tender process to appoint a new host organisation. This may be of interest to a local non-profit organisations.
The Requirement:
The host organisation provides a home and base for the operations of the PPN. This means working in partnership with the PPN Secretariat and South Dublin County Council to:
- Hold and administer the PPN’s annual budget.
- Recruit and employ 2 staff members on behalf of the PPN.
- Provide office space for the PPN staff to operate from.
The initial hosting agreement will be for 3 years, subject to annual review.
The successful host organisation will sign an agreement with South Dublin County PPN and South Dublin County Council. This agreement will cover a range of procedures, including the funding arrangements. The host organisation is not expected to cover PPN staffing or operational costs.
There are many reasons why an organisation may wish to host the PPN and these are included in the detailed expression of interest overview document.
