Job Title: Psychologist (Part Time)

Salary: €51,941 FTE (Post is 0.4FTE)

Duration: Initial 12-month Contract

Location: Dundalk (Project Team will deliver service across Counties Louth and Meath)

BACKGROUND

The Changing Lives Initiative (CLI) is a community-based initiative, which creates a better understanding of ADHD and provides an intervention programme for families with children (aged 3-7) experiencing behaviours consistent with ADHD. We offer a tiered intervention for families starting with Information and Awareness sessions, through to a Screening Programme and an intensive intervention in the form of an evidence-based ADHD focused Incredible Years Parent Programme. The intervention is primarily delivered pre diagnosis; with potential families being identified via a range of agencies including health services, family support, GPs and schools. As well as working with families the project provides specialist training to education, health and social care professionals.

We are currently seeking a part time Psychologist (14 hours a week) for our team delivering the Initiative in Counties Louth and Meath.

JOB PURPOSE

The main purpose of the Psychologist role is to administer the screening process for the programme and deliver Information & Awareness Sessions to professionals. The Psychologist also provides post screening and post-programme feedback to parents.
