We are offering an exciting opportunity for experienced Social Care Leaders to join our client’s team on a permanent basis, providing essential care to vulnerable young people in a supportive and dynamic environment.
As a Social Care Leader, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality care while leading and supporting a dedicated team. This is a chance to make a real difference in the lives of young people, guiding them through their personal growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team in the day-to-day care of young people in a residential setting.
- Support and guide residents as they progress through the service.
- Ensure the highest standards of care are maintained in line with best practices.
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum Level 7 qualification in Social Care or a relevant equivalent.
- At least 3 years’ experience in Children's Residential Services, including key working experience.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- In-depth knowledge of child development, trauma-informed care, and safeguarding procedures.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, evenings, waking nights, and sleepovers.
- Full clean driving license (manual and automatic licenses considered).
