Salary: €45,000 euro (pro rata)

Hours: 3 days a week

Contract Type: 6 month, temporary, contract

Towards Healing is a charitable organisation, which supports survivors of institutional, clerical and religious abuse on the island of Ireland. Its mission is to enable survivors to recover, heal and rebuild their lives by providing free professional counselling and other supports to survivors and their family members.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

• Reporting to the Counselling Manager
• Ensuring that clients of Towards Healing receive counselling and group support which enable them to recover, heal and rebuild their lives
• Co-ordinating the counselling service and delivering group work in such a way that this can be achieved
• Contributing to the development of the service over time as needed and in line with evidence of best practice, including developments in trauma informed care
