Galway Simon Community is currently recruiting for the following positions:
Housing Support Officer – Emergency Services
Location: Galway
Contract Details: 1 Year Fixed Term Contract, 32 hours on average per week
Salary: HSE Health Care Assistant 01/03/23 salary scale €36,195 - €51,941 (pro rata)
Job Purpose:
To act as a key member of staff, responsible for providing key working and case management support to clients, to move them to their own home and toward independent living. To support and supervise volunteers, CE staff and others in the operation of the service. To help ensure Galway Simon Community provides high quality, effective housing support services.

Housing Support Officer – Men’s Residential High Support
Location: Galway
Contract Details: Specific Purpose Contract, 37 hours on average per week
Salary: HSE Health Care Assistant 01/03/23 salary scale €36,195 - €51,941 (pro rata)

Health Care Assistant (HSA) – Homeless Prevention Services
Location: Galway City and Surrounds
Contract Details: Permanent, 37 hours per week, including some weekends and evenings
Salary: HSE Health Care Assistant 01/03/23 salary scale €31,723 - €40,738 (pro rata)
Job Purpose:
To support people who live in their own homes & shared homes, to live independently, enhancing independent living skills, supporting to attend appointments and participate in community groups and activities to build connections in the community.
