Carlow Regional Youth Services: Family Support Worker & Early Intervention Worker - HUB IYJS Project
Carlow Regional Youth Service invites applications for the following positions:
1. Family Support Worker with the HUB IYJS Project– Full Time
2. Early Intervention Worker with the HUB IYJS Project – Full Time
The HUB Youth Diversion Project is a community based; multi-agency crime prevention initiatives which seek to divert young people from becoming involved (or further involved) in anti-social and/or criminal behaviour by providing suitable activities to facilitate personal, positive, social and personal development, civic responsibility and long-term employability prospects
The successful candidates will have:
- A third level qualification in youth work or an equivalent discipline, and/or at least 3 years’ experience of working directly with young people and families is essential.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to relate and advocate for the young people and families in the target group
- Work as a part of an overall team to provide an integrated service to families and young people
- Access to a car and full driving licence
