New Arrivals Project Worker

NTDC invites applications for New Arrivals Project Worker (Fixed term temporary contract until 31st of December 2024)

The successful candidate must meet the criteria of the job specification including:

• A primary degree (minimum NFQ Level 7) in community development/social sciences or other related field
• A minimum of 2/3 years’ experience working in the community development sector in a similar role.
• Relevant Community Development work experience in programme development and delivery
• Experience of working with New Arrivals is desirable
• Fluent in English
• At least two years’ paid experience in a community development/related field
• Experience of working with marginalised individuals and communities
• Experience in delivering youth/family support.
• Experience in delivering employment/education supports.
• Interested and motivated to support new arrivals/new communities.
• Strong experience in developing and delivering programmes.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

Full-time position - working 35 hours per week. Flexibility will be required, some weekends and evenings. The role is a temporary fixed term contract until 31st of December 2024.

The salary for the role is €34,540 - €53,056, The successful applicant will be offered a salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
